Planning a Washington State Elopement?
Washington State is my all time favorite state in the us to help couples elope. It has a beautiful moody and cinematic energy that my camera LOVES. If you want mountains, scenic water views, AND gorgeous moody-styled imagery in your elopement day, Washington is probably the state for your elopement to happen.

Deception Pass is one of my FAVORITE elopement locations + hikes in the PNW. It's a short 0.5 mile or so trail up to the top where a beautiful wind-swept ceremony could be had, or you can have a more calm and scenic water view for your ceremony spot. It's not as populated as other PNW elopement locations, it has very reasonable permitting fees (about $60 per day for special events). You can access the special permit fees through the state website or emailing them. If you hire a photographer like me, we will handle all the permitting and contacts/connects for you! Deception Pass
elopements are for couples who want a chill, sea-swept, and moody adventure day.
Artist Point is a scenic wonderland full of mountain ranges of the Cascades, reflection water-bodies, and frolicking trails for lovers who adore the mountains.. this one is perfect for you. There is NO permitting fees for this location! You can have your elopement up here completely for free and it makes it great for many out-of-state eloping couples who are traveling to Washington and looking for a simple but cinematic and adventurous space to elope. There are restrooms and visitor center in the parking lot and clear signs for the various trail loops. There are many paved loops, making this a great disability friendly option as well. An Artist Point elopement is for the couple who isn't afraid to be in some crowds, wants a jaw-dropping scenic background, and wants a romantic stay in the mountains.
